Carnes Crossroads Gives Back in 2017

January 9th, 2018

As our community grows, a resource that is funded through a community enhancement fee on all resale transactions at Carnes Crossroads is building an endowment to help residents in need in our own neighborhoods and throughout the greater community. In 2017 the Carnes Crossroads Community Fund (CCCF) made among its first contributions to the community by awarding grants totaling $2,500 to four local non-profit organizations.

Magdalene House of Charleston

Their mission is to provide women with the opportunity to recover in a safe environment while also providing them with encouragement and support along their journey. The Magdalene house was founded in Nashville, TN in August of 1997 and now has two locations in the greater Charleston area.

Young Life

The vision for YoungLife started in the early 1930s in Texas, and it is now a national organization with branches located all over the world.

Junior Achievement
Junior Achievements strives to help students realize the importance of the education they are receiving today and how it will help them attain a brighter future. Volunteers work with kids to help them understand all of the options available to them.

Callen-Lacey Center for Children
