Schools & Church

Schools and churches are important building blocks for a healthy community. At Carnes Crossroads, Northwood Academy provides an exceptional private school experience for children of all ages (preschool through 12th grade) within walking distance of the first neighborhoods. This established and highly-regarded educational institution relocated its Upper School (grades 6-13) to Carnes Crossroads in 2016, and its Lower School (grades K-5) in 2017. The Northwood campus is also home to Northwood Church, which opened at Carnes Crossroads in 2012.

Property Owners' Association

The friendly staff at the Carnes Crossroads Property Owners’ Association not only serve to ensure that common areas in the community – parks, trails, amenities and landscaping – are maintained to the highest standards. They also provide programming support for resident and area events like concerts at the Green Barn, outdoor movies, fundraising events and more.
