Fall Events in Summerville & Goose Creek

Fall in the Lowcountry rivals springtime as the ideal time to enjoy our area’s outdoor lifestyle and endless event options. Carnes Crossroads residents are lucky to have many exciting events taking place right here in the community this season, and they can also venture down the road to downtown Summerville and Goose Creek for an even greater army of options. Take a second to check out these highlights of some of the awesome things happening in our area this fall!

Goose Creek Fall Festival
October 7, 10am- 4pm | Goose Creek 
This annual, family-friendly event is put together by the City of Goose Creek. The festival will take place outside behind the Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center, located at 519 N. Goose Creek Blvd. There will be activities for children, pony rides, arts & crafts vendors, food vendors, live performances and exhibitors. This event aims to raise funds and awareness for our local food bank, Helping Hands of Goose Creek. One free raffle ticket will be awarded for every two non-perishable food donations to Helping Hands. For more information see the event flyer here.

She Tris AquaGirl and Aquathon
October 13 & 14 | Carnes Crossroads
For girls and women only, these swim+run events are perfect for those who want to ease into the world of triathlons in a non-competitive environment. They’re also a great way to prepare for the annual She Tris Triathlon, which takes place each June in Mt. Pleasant. Carnes Crossroads is proud to be the host site for these events! Click here for more information and to register.

5th Annual Summerville Italian Feast
October 15, 11am- 6pm | Summerville 
Enjoy authentic Italian dishes at Hutchison Square in downtown Summerville. Local Italian food and wine will be available to sample and purchase, and local Italian artists will be performing live throughout the festival. This is an event to celebrate and honor Italian culture and heritage. You can find more information on their website!

Goose Creek Halloween Carnival
October 28, 5pm- 7pm | Goose Creek
The city of Goose Creek is hosting this year’s carnival-themed Halloween event in the Goose Creek Community Center Gym on October 28th. This will be a evening of fun, featuring carnival games, candy, prizes, cupcake walks, halloween crafts and a costume contest! This event is free to the public – you do not want to miss it! St. Jude Run/Walk to End Childhood Cancer
November 11, 8am- 12pm | Carnes Crossroads
Carnes Crossroads is proud to again be the host site for this annual fundraiser to support St. Jude Children’s Hospital. You’re invited to run or walk the race, or make a donation and come to Carnes Crossroads to cheer on the participants. Therapeutic Fishing Rodeo
November 11, 10am- 2pm | Goose Creek 
The lake at the Goose Creek Municipal Center will be the location for an afternoon of fishing by the lake. This event is open to all of those with special needs or disabilities and their family and friends. 2017 Carnes Crossroads Holiday Market at the Green Barn
December 9, 12pm- 5pm | Carnes Crossroads
The Carnes Crossroads Holiday Market is back! Vendors selling all kinds of local, handmade gifts, goodies and treats will set up shop at the Green Barn the afternoon of December 9th for a holiday extravaganza. Festive decor will adorn the Green Barn and the adjacent Village Green, the sounds of holiday music will fill the air and Santa will even make an appearance! Plenty of holiday goodies and other treats are in store as the Carnes Crossroads community gets ready to celebrate the season. This event is free to the public.
