Residents Enjoy “Boo at the Barn”

Over 200 people gathered at the Green Barn on Saturday, October 28th for the first ever Carnes Crossroads “Boo at the Barn,” an event that just may become another annual tradition here in our community. Residents and guests of all ages dressed in their Halloween costumes and met at the barn for a night of family fun. Activities included Pin the Tail on the Pumpkin, a Witch Hat Toss, Musical Chairs, Mummy Races, Freaky Frankenstein, Pumpkin Carving and a Costume Contest. A DJ provided music and entertainment all evening long.
This fall social event actually originated two years ago with the Green Barn Hoedown, and last year it was the First Friday Fall Cookout. With the help of the Carnes Crossroads POA staff and community residents, it has evolved into a Halloween-themed event that is sure to be a community staple for years to come. Guests raved about “Boo at the Barn” and are already excited for next year’s festivities!
